Google Translate’s biggest expansion yet

Big news for Google Translate

We're rolling out 110 languages to Google Translate, our largest expansion ever. From Cantonese to Qʼeqchiʼ, the update will open up translations for more than 614 million speakers — around 8% of the world's population. About a quarter of the new languages come from Africa, which also represents our largest expansion of African languages to date, and a big step toward our goal of supporting 1,000 languages with AI.
